I really appreciate the new friends that have connected with St. Theodore through this website and through “Liking” the Facebook page recently. I notice that a lot of you have been listening to the music available here and also some of you have taken advantage of the limited time FREE download of Cold Heart Alive.

I am excited with a lot of stuff that is happening behind the scenes lately with St. Theodore. I wish I could share it all with everyone right now but that kind of ruins the surprise and effect of it later! I will be updating you on news and events here and on the Facebook page regularly over the next few weeks and months, so keep checking. I am working hard on completing the full length album. I just sent over the final touches yesterday of a song that is being mixed by Joe Corey (Cold Heart Alive) in California. Excited for you to hear it! Along with working with my awesome team of sound engineers, I am working with a new graphic design artist on some new concepts, talking to other amazing musicians and artists  about future collaborations, and getting connected with regional radio stations that are going to start playing my current singles.  I am also putting a lot of time (and money) into completely overhauling the live show and production. So get ready for a whole new experience this year!

There is a lot I am thankful for when thinking back on 2012. It was a very formidable year for St. Theodore. Here are a few highlights… Releasing the first 2 singles for St. Theodore (Not Turning Back and Stay), playing some great shows and festivals including SoulFest and Connect Fest, working with some great sound engineers on the record (see friends), and meeting everyone I met over the course of 2012 through St. Theodore.

And I am even more excited about 2013! I just confirmed 2 great slots at SoulFest 2013. Here are a few more things to expect over the coming months and the year… FULL LENGTH ALBUM RELEASE, new songs, more live shows, BIGGER live show production, video blogs, free song giveaways, and I’m sure more along the way.

Along with preparing for playing the festival this weekend St. Theodore has been busy with a variety of other things including:

-Making the single Stay available for full streaming for the first time over at the Facebook sounds page.

-Writing and recording the final 5 songs of the upcoming debut album.

-Updating the official website content (check out the new friends and about sections).

-Making the two current singles (Not Turning Back and Stay) available for sale or streaming all over the web. These songs and two others (Cold Heart Alive and Sounds Of A Burning Heart) are included on a limited release Promo EP that is available only at live shows for a limited time and is also being sent to radio stations and other industry resources.

St. Theodore has completed the recording and mastering of the first 5 songs off the upcoming full length CD. Currently the remainder of the album is being recorded. More info on songs and the CD will be posted as it becomes available. You can listen to select full songs on the homepage and also at St. Theodore’s facebook page.

I have been busy finishing up songs for St. Theodore’s upcoming first album titled “Sounds of a Burning Heart.” I actually just recently finished the title track (mixed by Stephen Woods) and it sounds killer! Also, I enlisted the help of two amazing producer/engineers to help make this album sound amazing. One of them is the very talented Wayne Young http://www.WYoungProductions.com, who has worked with Switchfoot, Brit Nicole, Phao, Hello Bella, and many more. He has jumped on board to lend his hand to some of the biggest tracks on the album.

The other producer/engineer is Joe Corey from Hollywood, CA. He was the assistant mixer for Owl City’s last record (All Things Bright and Beautiful). I really loved the production on that album so I was super stoked when I reached out to him and he jumped on board. He will begin mixing his first St. Theodore song soon, I can’t wait. On a side note, Joe is moving to Redding, CA in a few weeks. Redding could be considered the birthplace of St. Theodore! I lived there for two years while writing music and creating what is now St. Theodore. The name was created there and the songs Not Turning Back, Cold Heart Alive, Stay, and Unbelievable were all started while living there. Great to have Joe on board. I love having that connection with Owl City and Redding, CA all in one!
